Chanel has released a new line of handbags very masculine for it’s next collection.
The luxurious fashion house Chanel has released a new line of handbags for women in very masculine touch.
The collection named “Boy”, it does not speak for men, and despite its name is actually a tribute to Boy Capel, who is Coco Chanel’s great love.
The Chanel new handbags collection was designed by Karl Lagerfeld himself, and was inspired and based on a hunting cartridge-style bag originally carried by Coco Chanel, who was known for taking inspiration from menswear.
The models are mostly androgynous theme, as targets for women who love the angular shapes and materials in line with what could be a man, with thick-skinned, coated clasps and chains and it can be worn over the shoulder or across the body in the same way.
The Chanel bags are on sale in the Chanel boutique in September, this range will be available in calfskin clutches, totes and purses of red, gray, and ivory glazed calfskin palettes, with prices ranging from US$2,500 to US$4,300.
